GB Forklifts offers training for the complete novice through to refresher training of experienced operators, as advised by the Health and Safety Executive(HSE). Our training is provided on all types of industrial equipment and we can also adapt courses to suit the individual's experience/company requirements.

We pride ourselves on only providing the sufficient training required and never fluctuate from this responsibility.

As all our training is based on-site (where you work), operators also have a full understanding and awareness of their own working environment.

Forklift Training Prerequisites

•    Trainee should be physically and mentally capable of operating this type of equipment.
•    Further information can be obtained from HSE booklet (HSG6) Safety in working with Lift trucks appendix 2 and from HSE Employment Medical Advisory Service.
•    Seventeen years of age for operation in factories and warehousing.
•    Eighteen years of age for construction sites. Over school leaving age for the agricultural and horticultural industry.
